LGF Museum of Natural History established a Board of Directors comprised of individuals that recognize
the great value that the LGF Museum will bring to the Arizona landscape and are engaged with the
mission. The Directors are community leaders bringing experience, knowledge, and dedication to the
LGF Museum of Natural History
Michael created The LGF Foundation in 2011, a 501(c)3 non‐profit organization, and began actively pursuing the building of the LGF Museum of Natural History. Michael has been an avid collector of artifacts, fossils, meteorites, and petrified wood for over 30 years amassing a collection with more than 10,000 pieces worth well over $10,000,000. His dedication to inspiring people young and old in the science of natural history is evident as he shares his knowledge and passion for history speaking throughout the country. He has lived in Arizona for 23 years and is a successful entrepreneur and small business owner. Michael has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Michigan. He is a member of the Association of Applied Paleontological Sciences.
Advanced Auto Service
& Tire Centers
Paul founded Advanced Auto Service and Tire Centers in 1988 and has grown it to 15 stores throughout Arizona. Advanced is consistently ranked in the “Top 100 Independent Tire Dealers in the United States” by Modern Tire Dealer. Paul went on to create Tire Partners which has been a supplier for dealerships since 1999. He is a founding partner of Social Venture Partners in Arizona which seeks to provide funding and volunteer hours to charitable organizations around Arizona. He is past president of the Arizona Tire Dealer Association and has served as a member of several Industry Advisory Boards.

Julie has built and operated companies including LM Data and Choctaw Broadcasting in Monroe, Louisiana. She also co‐owned Dealer Capital Corporation out of Dallas, TX. She has been greatly involved in community education for the Scottsdale Unified School District and volunteered to raise funds for organizations including Mohammad Ali’s Fight Night Committee, Cardinal Care of the St Louis Cardinals, and Lou Brock’s Inner City Kids.
Nick Petra, CFP
Strategic Duck, LLC
Nick is a business consultant bringing over 40 years of successful strategies to small businesses and large corporations. In addition to operating Strategic Duck, LLC, Nick developed BizQuack which provides small businesses direct mentoring and assistance through an online network. He is a Certified Financial Planner and past president of the Arizona Small Business Association. He is a member of Business Mentor Team and is part of the ASU Skysong Mentor program helping students develop new products and businesses. Nick is a published author and national speaker.
Clark Hill PLC
Daniel is a senior corporate attorney with the national law firm Clark Hill PLC. He has significant experience with corporate governance, business development and non‐profits. Daniel is also heavily involved in local startup community and is the co‐ chair of the Startup and Entrepreneurship Committee of the Arizona Technology Council.
President Arizona Utility
Pat retired as President of Qwest in Arizona in 2008. He worked for Governor Brewer as Director of RUCO and now heads the consumer advocacy group Arizona Utility Ratepayer Alliance (AURA). Pat has served on the boards of various charitable organizations and has great expertise in both operations and finance.
